How do I get my timepiece repaired?

If you purchased your timepiece directly from our website or from an authorized retailer, y
ou can send all JBW timepieces to our repair site for care.


Repair Process
A timepiece repair can take up to two weeks to finish (from the date we receive the timepiece), but it may take longer if we have to order any special parts.
You will receive a repair quote form our repairs department once your timepiece has been examined and the damage has been assessed. An invoice will then be sent to your email for the repair cost and shipping costs if required. 

What is covered by my warranty?
All JBW timepieces come with a two year International Manufacturer Warranty, all manufacturer defects are covered by JBW, excluding shipping charges.

If you purchased an extended Platinum Warranty, all manufacturer defects are covered by JBW as well as unlimited battery replacements,  1 free tune-up or cleaning, a leather strap (if applicable), bracelet links if applicable), and warranty-related shipping charges (only applies to domestic customers).

Please note the following is not covered by the International or Platinum Warranties:
-Defects and damages due to normal wear and tear and aging (minor scratches on the case and/or crystal, loss of plating due to wear.)
-Defects and damages due to loss, theft, fire or natural disaster, wear outside of stated water resistance
-Damage caused by improper use or accidents

To redeem the benefits of a repair or replacement under the International or Platinum Warranty, you must register your timepiece and provide proof of purchase.

To send your timepiece to our repair center, please fill out therepair form then send us an email with your tracking number once your watch is on the way.

You can locate your model number on the back of your timepiece.

I just received my timepiece but it is not working.. why?

I just received my timepiece but it is not working.. why?

If you've just received your timepiece and it isn't working, make sure that the crown stopper has been removed. Most timepieces have a clear, plastic stopper around the crown of the timepiece. Once the stopper is removed, set the time and push the crown back in completely so it is pressed against the timepiece face.

If you are in the United States, we are more than happy to send you a battery at no charge, and you can take your timepiece to a local jeweler to have the battery replaced. Click here to request a battery.

There are many reasons why a timepiece may start to lose time, but the best way to diagnose the problem is for you to send the timepiece in for servicing. All JBW timepieces have an International two-year warranty, so please allow us the opportunity to repair your timepiece under the terms of the warranty.

How do I clean my leather band?

You may clean your leather band with the use of a damp cloth and a mild leather cleaner. Please do not use water to clean your band as this can cause damage to the leather.

Is my timepiece waterproof?

Is my timepiece waterproof?

The water-resistance of a JBW timepiece ranges from 3-10ATM (30-100 meters), this can be found on your JBW case back or online under the SPECS of each model.
We recommend taking off your watch before engaging in activities that may involve prolonged exposure to water.

*Kindly note that water damaged is not covered under warranty.

I just received my timepiece but it is not working.. why?

If you've just received your timepiece and it isn't working, make sure that the crown stopper has been removed. Most timepieces have a clear, plastic stopper around the crown of the timepiece. Once the stopper is removed, set the time and push the crown back in completely so it is pressed against the timepiece face.
